This policy explains how Frutigo IT collects, uses and looks after personal information when you visit this website, contact us or request a service. Frutigo IT is based in Deception Bay, Queensland, Australia.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry or request a booking, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, suburb, optional street address, the details you provide about the help you need, and your selected service and appointment time. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in a form.
Some information is stored in your browser to make the site work: selected booking details are kept in local storage until removed or submitted, and your text-size preference is saved so it can be remembered on your next visit. You can clear this information through your browser settings.
Our website hosting provider may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as connection or diagnostic logs.
How we use and share information
We use information you provide to respond to you, arrange and deliver requested services, manage appointment availability, and keep records needed for our business and legal obligations.
Enquiries and booking details are sent to us by email using Bird (MessageBird). Booking records, including your name and selected appointment date and time, are stored using Supabase. These providers process information to provide their services to us and may handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide services, meet legal or record-keeping requirements, and resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Information handled by our service providers may be stored or processed in locations outside Australia. Their handling of information is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Your choices and requests
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will consider and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
